Meet Bailey

Updated: Dec 3, 2020

This is Bailey. She is our new puppy. She is really K's new puppy, but we all love her. Well, most of us love her - one cat is still not feeling the love. Ophir. Ophir is our oldest cat, we found her camping. Her lists of joys are simple - food, treats, sleeping in the sunshine, being petted when she feels like it (she'll let you know), and more food.

Darby wasn't too sure what was going on at first, but even she is sharing now.

Aren't they adorable together? Bailey is part Australian Shepherd and part who knows. Which is what we like, we like our little mutts - I guess we call them mixes nowadays. We got her from a local rescue, which actually rescued her from New Mexico. Anyway, this little gal is going to have a great life. K has already taught her to sit and she is getting better about going outside for the bathroom. She even will bring her ball back to you outside to throw again, and she is only 2.5 months old.

Etsy shopwise - I am having a Cyber Week sale with lots of yarn on sale. The Christmas sock yarn has gone quickly, but I am adding some more tomorrow. Things were super busy for a few days, and I am so appreciative of everyone who purchased yarn at my shop! As someone who is just starting out, each time someone buys from me, I am over the moon! And now I have had 2 repeat customers - that is super exciting!!!

Above isn't actually "Christmas Green" yarn, it is Spruce Shadows. It is like, well walking in spruces and seeing the greens and yellows. A Colorado thing for sure. I quickly sold out of Blue Christmas, I hope I see what they make from it.

I hope everyone is staying safe these days. Everyone is bearing their own burdens, so be kind to one another. Enjoy!

Welcome, Bailey! Congratulations. What a doll! There are many so beautiful rescue dogs looking for forever homes. Bailey is one lucky guy! Yarn looks gorgeous as always.
