The other day, I showed you some yarn in the crockpot, which was done with some different speckling. So here is the results below - which I really love.
I also had done a bit of hand painting on some DK weight yarn. And I took pictures with both a white background and a black background - it shows you what a difference the background can make!
Isn't that interesting? The same yarn yet the top one is brighter pink - red, while the bottom one is more pinkish. The truth is, it is really bright much closer to the top but not so red, a Tech Pink - as I called it.
All these yarns are being listed today on Etsy. I was pretty busy dyeing yarn this week.
Circusfetti - a really bright orange, yellow, and blue. I wasn't sure I liked it at first, but it grew on me. Plus it is really soft - 3ply Superwash Merino/Nylon - squishy soft.
And in a tribute to my home state of Colorado, I listed Aspen, a gold and green yarn. Really fun mix of color.
I have some really pretty pictures to share on my next blog post. We went to the Botanical Gardens Holiday Light Show (I am not sure that is the exact name) and it was so beautiful and the colors were very inspiring for yarn!
Enjoy!
